Building an Online Course that Lasts: How to Set It and Forget It

One of the biggest challenges we all face is time–there is just never enough. Teaching an online course may seem like a time saver, but you soon realize there is maintenance and that lectures you recorded merely a semester/year ago are in need of a desperate update: perhaps you misspoke, just want to change a word or two, clarify something, or remove/add an example. By investing more time upfront, utilizing a few tools, and implementing some tips, instructors can build online lecture videos that are engaging and easy to manage so that when a topic goes by the wayside or something new comes along, all is not lost.
