Hotspots in the video:
12:46 Drop ungraded items: ignore items that have not been graded yet. Add earned zeroes manually to display an accurate current grade. Treat ungraded items as 0: assign a score of 0 to all grade items until scored. (D2L Gradebook tips: https://help.d2l.msu.edu/node/4432)
15:14 The Final Grade Calculation option is not the same as releasing final grades. It shows a small calculator with scores used for their grade.
21:33 Once they submit assignment 1, this grade category will be released to (viewable by) the student.
42:13 Check Allow automatic export to grades to send auto-graded attempt scores directly to the gradebook. Allow attempt to be set as graded immediately upon completion must be checked first.
42:39 Submission views allow students to see what answers they submitted, what they got right/wrong, and correct answers (if you choose to show them). The default view only shows students their score and not the questions and answers.
