Join us in person at the MSU Main Library for a scholar-led book discussion of The Ornament of the World: How Muslims, Jews, and Christians Created a Culture of Tolerance in Medieval Spain, written by MarĂa Rosa Menocal. MSU History professor David Wheat will give a short lecture, followed by facilitated small group discussions led by graduate students. Refreshments provided; free and open to the public. Reading the book before the event is encouraged but not required. The book Ornament of the World is widely available via Melcat free interlibrary loan.
