~Nois is an innovative saxophone quartet in residency at MSU through the MSUFCU Entrepreneurial Musical Artist in Residence program. The ensemble includes two MSU Music alumni, and the energy and sense of fun they bring is matched only by their technical prowess.
The full program includes the MSU Wind Symphony performing Commando March by Samuel Barber, Severance (concerto for saxophone quartet and wind ensemble) by David Biedenbender, and Symphony No. 6, Op. 69 by Vincent Persichetti. The MSU Symphony Band will perform Tunbridge Fair by Walter Piston, and New England Triptych by William Schuman. Kevin L. Sedatole and David Thornton, conductors.
