Caring for someone who has a terminal illness or is in hospice can be a complicated experience.   While there is not one instruction manual that fits everyone’s unique experience of grieving while caring for a loved one, there are some common themes and frameworks that can be helpful to consider while you are on your personal caregiving journey.  Join us as we explore the landmark stages of grief and loss as well as explore the various ways people journey through these stages.   Explore how increasing your emotional resilience and psychological flexibility can ease the strain of caregiving and anticipatory grief regarding the pending loss of your loved one. Bring your questions and experiences. 

Session will be facilitated by Lisa Laughman, Lead Emotional Wellness Consultant for the MSU Health4U program.  Lisa is also a person that has provided end of life care to 6 of her own elders and she will share her personal experience as well as her professional expertise gained over 30 years as a grief counselor.
