We are focusing
on native plants and what plants you can add to support the birds and the bees
in dry conditions. Do you enjoy observing birds in your backyard... hearing the song of the Robin or watching hummingbirds fill up on nectar? if you answered yes you might be interested in adding native plants and to your landscape that supports these visitors. We will highlight a few drought-tolerant native plants it also support our native birds and bees.
Grab your morning beverage and join us to learn more about five bird species! Each session we’ll highlight birds that you can find in our SW Michigan backyards, woods, and waters this time of year.
There is no fee for this online program but to receive a secure link to the zoom meeting. Your hosts are educators: Lisa Duke and Misty Klotz from Kellogg Biological Station and Kellogg Bird Sanctuary. Zoom in and participate by sharing your recent bird sightings and asking questions!
