Ingham County Community Mental Health partnered with the College of Education to provide a space for people to speak with mental health professionals and have access to some tools to help deal with grief. This video is a recording of a crisis management briefing that was held following the shooting incident at MSU on February 13, 2023.

Any student who wants to meet with a MSU CAPS provider to discuss counseling options, can do so by following this link (https://caps.msu.edu/schedule/index.html) and click on schedule now.
If a student wants to attend one of our four trauma informed workshops, that can be found on the group counseling webpage under workshops (https://caps.msu.edu/services/groups/workshops.html), and trauma informed workshops, to schedule an appointment to attend use the following link (https://caps.msu.edu/schedule/index.html).
All students have access to our 24/7crisis line by calling our main line (517) 355-8270 and press “1” when prompted to speak with a crisis counselor.
