Changes Ahead for Renewable Energy Permitting: the knowns and unknowns

Public Act 233 of 2023, signed by Governor Whitmer on November 28, 2023, makes significant changes to the permitting process for large-scale renewable energy facilities. The new law grants permitting authority to the Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC), unless local governments adopt 'compatible renewable energy ordinances'.  This webinar covers the knowns and unknowns of this new legislation, featuring speakers:
