ELC students themselves emphasize the benefits of English language acquisition through MSU. Not only do ELC students explore American attractions (such as those in Chicago and Detroit), but they're also exposed to a range of cultures from fellow international students. Sharing the experience of learning English besides a multitude of different nationalities shows the power of collaboration even with multiple language barriers.
