Culture change is a process that we all wish would happen quickly. However, as author Stephen M. R. Covey stated, “change moves at the speed of trust.” Meaningful change can only truly happen if we develop trusting relationships with those we lead. This interactive workshop will begin by unpacking the concept of trust and discuss strategies for building (or rebuilding) trust. One key element of trust is creating a space where people are valued and have a sense of belonging. In order to work towards this goal, we will also explore what inclusion means in this context and how to engage in conversations that create sustainable change in developing healthier workplaces.
