Reflecting on how changes have affected the dairy industry in the past is valuable to our industry now and in the future. Joe’s perspective having grown up in the dairy industry and also serving as a professor, mentor, and judging coach was an insightful addition to our podcast series. He shared his unique experience within the dairy industry with a wide range agriculturalists during this interview.

Joe "teaches dairy management, dairy cattle reproduction and dairy cattle genetics courses for the Department of Animal Science and the Institute of Agricultural Technology (IAT). Involved in teaching, advising, recruiting, internships, curriculum evaluation and development, and job placement of students in the IAT Dairy Management certificate program. Coordinates the Collegiate, IAT and State 4-H Dairy Cattle Judges Teams. Assists with the MSU Dairy Challenge program."
