Description: Come learn about the possibilities of integrating Makerspace services and technologies into your teaching. Amanda Tickner from MSU Libraries will give an overview of the technologies and how Makerspace staff can help bring them into your course. She will also present examples of how the Makerspace has been used in courses from many disciplines, from the humanities to STEM fields. These examples demonstrate how Makerspace supports classroom activities at a variety of skill levels and intensity of involvement. Pedagogical goals and affordances of making activities will also be discussed.
