May 2th MI CSA Network Meeting Part 2 - Food Assistance and CSA with MIFMA

The second portion of the MI CSA Network Meeting included a presentation from the Michigan Farmers Market Association all about accepting food assistance benefits (SNAP, WIC, Project Fresh, etc.) for CSA and direct market farmers. This is a basic rundown of all of the commonly used food assistance payment methods and how farmers can access resources to help them accept these benefits for payment of CSAs along with other local products.
