PSL 475L Honors Option- Blood Model in a Bottle Activity

This video will explain the function of blood in the body and its components at an elementary academic level. This video discusses the function of blood, how it travels, and the capabilities of each component of the blood. These parts include the plasma, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. This video also includes an interactive activity of creating a blood model in a bottle. The supplies needed for this activity include an empty water bottle, 16 oz of corn syrup, circular red candies, mini marshmallows, and uncooked rice. At the end of the video, there is a short interactive quiz to test the children's knowledge.
