The session provides an overview of Piazza and answers any questions faculty may have about the different use cases that Piazza has seen instructors adopt with the platform. Some of what it covers in the demo includes:
Overview: Piazza creates a learning environment that allows students to collaborate with their peers and instructors any time, especially with many virtual classes this term.
Specifics: Wiki-style formatting enables collaboration in a single space -Anonymous posting encourages every student, even the shyest, to participate -Instructors endorse student answers to keep the class on track -Features a LaTeX editor, highlighted syntax and code blocking -Detailed statistics to help track student engagement.
