The MSUvote Campus and Community Coalition is pleased to host a virtual conversation with Dr. Nancy L. Thomas, Director, Institute for Democracy & Higher Education (IDHE) at Tufts University’s Jonathan M. Tisch College of Civic Life on Monday, March 21 from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. EDT. IDHE is home to the National Study of Learning, Voting, and Engagement (NSLVE) and will join us to talk about the study, MSU’s numbers, and more.
MSU Student Voting Rates increased from 52.2% in 2016 to 76.6% in 2020 (View the MSU NSLVE Report Here) This rate is 10.6% higher than the national student voting rate average of 66%.

1. Learn about the work of the IDHE and about the National Study of Learning, Voting, and Engagement (NSLVE).
2. Discuss ways to elevate civic learning and participation in democracy on our campuses year-round, not just during election seasons.
