Theory of Ergodic Quantum Processes (Part I)

This is the first talk in a series on "ergodic quantum processes." A quantum process is a sequence of quantum channels, which in turn are completely positive, trace preserving maps.

In this talk, I discuss the general framework of quantum states, evolution of multi-part quantum systems, and the reasoning behind considering completely positive, trace preserving maps.
