Dr. Vilada Chansamouth is a government staff at Mahosot Hospital. She graduated from the University of Health Sciences, Vientiane, Laos in 2004 (General Medicine). She continued her Master’s degree in Tropical Medicine and International Health in the Institut de la Francophonie pour la Medicine Tropical (IFMT) during 2005 and 2007. Dr Chansamouth finished her second master degree in Epidemiology in the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), London, UK in 2012. She worked on numbers of epidemiological studies of febrile illnesses in Laos. She is currently doing her PhD studies in Clinical Medicine at the University of Oxford.
