The Project on Public Research University Futures (Project PRUF) is hosted by Michigan State University's Center for Higher and Adult Education (CHAE). Project PRUF is a series of online and local conversations designed to generate thoughtful and deliberative dialogue as to how U.S. public research universities can better meet the demands of the 21st century.
Project PRUF's first online symposium was held on Wednesday, March 12th and involved a conversation between Drs. Dominique Baker (University of Delaware), Jenny Lee (University of Arizona), Christopher Long (University of Oregon), Jennifer Mnookin (University of Wisconsin), and Teresa Woodruff (University of Michigan). Each panelist shared one major, long-term question facing public research universities in our current socio-political moment.
This event will be followed by a second conversation to be held on Wednesday, April 30th. For more information on Project PRUF, please visit
