The Michigan Good Food Charter is a roadmap for a food system that is rooted in local communities and centered on good food. Michigan Good Food is a policy initiative centered on the Michigan Good Food Charter. The initiative aims to promote policy changes that will advance "good food" in Michigan.
The original 2020 Charter outlined six goals to advance the vision by 2020. Since its initial publication, momentum around "good food" has grown and deepened. In 2019, the MSU Center for Regional Food Systems began a process to update the 2010 Charter. To learn more about this process, please visit: www.michiganfood.org
